- High reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- previous supervisory or management experience in food & beverage
- college degree or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Supervise the running of the service and take quick and appropriate action to correct any shortcomings
- assist the servers and bussers when required during all service periods
- anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
- respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- effectively handle guest complaints and compliments and communicate to the management team
- assist and organize departmental meetings with the management team
- carry out daily service briefings
- assist in the organization of training sessions
- work with Restaurant/Bar Managers and Assistant Managers to keep high standards of hygiene, service and presentation in the restaurant and bar, and amongst the staff
- be responsible for duties of the Restaurant/Bar Managers/Assistant Managers in their absence
