Job Requirements

  • High reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • previous supervisory or management experience in food & beverage
  • college degree or equivalent preferred
  • a valid U.S. work authorization

  • high reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Job Duties

  • Supervise the running of the service and take quick and appropriate action to correct any shortcomings
  • assist the servers and bussers when required during all service periods
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
  • respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • effectively handle guest complaints and compliments and communicate to the management team
  • assist and organize departmental meetings with the management team
  • carry out daily service briefings
  • assist in the organization of training sessions
  • work with Restaurant/Bar Managers and Assistant Managers to keep high standards of hygiene, service and presentation in the restaurant and bar, and amongst the staff
  • be responsible for duties of the Restaurant/Bar Managers/Assistant Managers in their absence
