Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years supervising experience
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, daylight, and evening shifts
- strong knowledge of health and safety standards in food and beverage operations
- ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- good vision including close, distance, and peripheral
- capable of talking and hearing
- previous Point of Sale experience preferably Micros
- intermediate computer proficiency
- ability to obtain necessary licensing by PGCB and Presque Isle Downs
- ability to lead and train staff
- excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- ability to manage, train, and support employee issues
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency with point of sale systems preferably Micros
- intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- effective public speaking skills
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including discounts, interest, and percentages
- strong reasoning and problem-solving capabilities
- ability to obtain required PGCB and casino-related licensing
Job Duties
- Provide leadership support to the management team during shifts
- schedule, organize and train food and beverage staff
- adjust staffing levels based on anticipated volume
- process cash reads following established procedures
- assist in maintaining liquor costs and accurate inventory records
- supervise cleanup and proper storage of food and beverage equipment
- manage weekly payroll and tip reporting
- supervise assignment of duties to employees for efficient operation
- address all guest compliments and complaints and communicate concerns to management
- provide operational relief to staff ensuring quality, courtesy, and service
- perform beverage and food department supervisory duties as needed
- ensure completion of opening and closing duties in the absence of management
- assist in running upscale full-service restaurant operations
- supervise large parties to ensure guest satisfaction
- cultivate and train a professional food and beverage service staff
- explore and implement events such as wine tastings and winemaker events
- adhere to company and departmental policies and enforce staff accountability
