Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year or more dining room or banquet supervisory experience
- previous private club or hotel experience preferred
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, and pull occasionally
- able to drive between two clubhouses transporting product
- strong communication skills
- proficiency with computer software
- resourceful and dependable
- positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Qualifications
- One year or more dining room or banquet supervisory experience
- previous experience at a private club or hotel
- high school diploma or GED
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- demonstrated effective communication abilities including written and verbal skills
- excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and internet use
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- experience with Jonas POS system preferred
Job Duties
- Manage labor and material purchases in accordance with budget
- be accountable for member and guest experiences while maintaining a culture of hospitality and teamwork
- collaborate with culinary team on service, training, and menu development
- enforce standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control
- lead daily briefings with service staff
- assist in staff scheduling and accountability
- motivate and communicate clearly with direct reports
- organize orientation and training for new and experienced staff
- ensure safety, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met
- oversee proper handling to minimize breakage and waste
- greet guests and drive high-performing teams to enhance guest experiences
- inspect dining room employee uniforms for cleanliness and proper attire
- provide support during events and banquets ensuring smooth operations
- approve weekly payroll and confirm time and attendance
- ensure all cleaning and side-work is completed
- maintain inventories and collaborate with Executive Chefs
- participate in meetings
- perform daily POS closeout
- address member questions and complaints and report actions taken
- maintain records of events, food covers, and business volumes
- maintain cleanliness and upkeep of food and beverage equipment and facilities
