Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage operations
  • previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to Hyatt’s purpose of care—creating a welcoming, inclusive, people-first environment for guests and colleagues
  • 1-2 years of food & beverage experience, with previous supervisory or lead responsibilities preferred
  • strong service-driven mindset, consistently delivering warm, genuine hospitality and resolving guest needs with empathy and professionalism
  • proven ability to lead diverse teams, foster belonging, and support a culture of respect, collaboration, and colleague well-being
  • understanding of Hyatt operational and service standards, including quality, presentation, and cleanliness expectations
  • strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, give clear direction, and navigate fast-paced service environments
  • working knowledge of POS systems, inventory practices, and basic administrative processes used in food and beverage operations
  • ability to embrace change, support new brand initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to maintaining reliable attendance
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations across restaurant, bar, café, or colleague dining areas
  • ensure service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols are consistently met
  • monitor floor activity to maintain smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
  • assist with scheduling, task assignments, and shift coverage as needed
  • greet guests and handle service recovery with professionalism and care
  • monitor guest feedback and collaborate with management to enhance service quality
  • lead, motivate, and support team members during service
  • provide on-the-job coaching and reinforce service, safety, and quality expectations
  • assist in the onboarding and training of new colleagues
  • promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work culture
  • assist with inventory control, ordering, and waste reduction initiatives
  • monitor labor, supplies, and operational costs to align with departmental goals
  • complete shift reports and communicate key operational updates to leadership
  • ensure compliance with all liquor laws, food safety standards, and company policies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, storage rooms, and equipment
  • support regular audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
