Job Duties
- Complete required reports on a timely basis
- assist with the monitoring of sales and make adjustments to the menu including pricing and specials
- schedule staff, monitor payroll, and maintain compliance with a payroll budget
- conduct daily stand up meetings with food and beverage staff to prioritize the day and facilitate feedback
- participate in recruitment and selection of talent for the food and beverage department
- develop and execute training programs for new hires and ongoing staff training
- supervise daily food outlet operations to ensure successful execution of lodge standards and completion of daily tasks
- assist with restaurant operations including Point of Sale transactions, expediting, and restocking
- ensure food outlets are sanitized, cleaned, stocked, and set up correctly adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies
- provide coaching, encouragement, and recognition to staff regularly
- monitor performance of staff with real-time feedback and coaching
- maintain quality of operations by ensuring service excellence, adequate inventory levels, and equipment operation including troubleshooting and repairs
- monitor and maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- monitor cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- collaborate with park and home office departments
- coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
- respond to guest inquiries using company service recovery guidelines
- utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
- participate in other projects and activities as assigned
