Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the same or similar position preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and/or licenses required by local gaming regulations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to bright lights and noise
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, preparation, and presentation
  • Computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
  • Knowledge of service standards, food and beverage products, preparations, and presentation
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Bilingual skills considered a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure excellent internal and external guest service
  • Monitor the operation of all beverage outlets for compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures, and all federal, state and local liquor, health, and safety regulations
  • Review administrative duties performed by beverage supervisors for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Monitor staffing levels of all Food and Beverage outlets and assist supervisors in making adjustments according to business needs
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in establishing budget goals and monitoring financial aspects of the department
  • Manage personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, and counseling
  • Establish and monitor adherence to service standards for each food and beverage outlet
  • Represent the Food and Beverage department in labor matters, unemployment hearings, and other employee-related hearings as needed
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
