Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • At least one year of previous leadership experience
  • At least one year of food and beverage experience
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Strong knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Proficiency in computer software programs and English
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications required: ServSafe, TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol, and Allergen Certification (within 30 days of hire)

Job Duties

  • Ensure execution of all food and beverage service programs including ordering, planning, product handling, and display
  • Maintain cost of goods sold (COGS), waste, and misuse by following set systems and procedures
  • Implement service efficiencies including FIFO (First In, First Out), cooking oil maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment and facilities
  • Execute training, coaching, and performance management of food and beverage team members
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and engaging team members to ensure a high-performing workforce
  • Provide clear direction and support to ensure adherence to company best practices and safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with local Board of Health guidelines and cleanliness standards
  • Utilize company software for ordering, inventory management, timekeeping, and operational logs
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly checklists are utilized and completed
  • Monitor operations to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs
