Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • no felony, theft or stealing convictions
  • must successfully pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
  • must obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • high energy and motivated personality
  • positive, motivating leadership qualities
  • ability to follow instructions
  • ability to carry out detailed oral and written instructions
  • must present neat and professional appearance
  • must demonstrate professional phone and radio etiquette

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum one year recent supervisory dining room or food service experience
  • experience in cash handling and alcohol enforcement
  • knowledge of dining, buffet and food maintenance operations
  • knowledge of menu items including entrees, sides, beverages and desserts
  • familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) and procurement systems
  • knowledge of supervisory techniques
  • computer proficiency
  • knowledge of Arizona Title 4 liquor law regarding alcohol service
  • ability to obtain Food Handlers card and TIPS certification
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work in a stressful and busy environment
  • ability to lead a team and resolve guest concerns

Job Duties

  • Ensures compliance with all Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures including Internal Controls
  • knowledge of laws and regulations governing Food & Beverage and upholding all Tribal, City, State and Federal health/food safety codes
  • maintains a clean, organized and sanitized work area following all applicable regulations
  • provides exceptional service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • responsible for quality control and consistent presentation of items served
  • maintains effective communication with management, team members, and other departments
  • conducts fair performance evaluations on subordinates
