Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • 1-2 years experience in an F&B related role preferred
  • must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
  • good understanding of English language and solid verbal and written communication skills
  • willingness to obtain certificates/licenses as required
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • knowledge of state liquor regulations
  • ability to document and complete paperwork
  • customer service orientation
  • professional demeanor
  • flexibility to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • prefer 1-2 years experience in an F&B related role
  • micros and Delphi knowledge is useful, but not required
  • must have a good understanding of the English language and solid verbal and written communication skills
  • provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
  • must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • have or be willing to obtain any appropriate certificates/licenses to meet all compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned F&B areas
  • work to understand the knowledge of state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
  • check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness
  • support the Manager, assisting in ensuring staff has reported to work
  • document any late or absent employees
  • coordinate breaks for assigned staff
  • inspect table/set-ups, check for cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with guest's order and departmental standards
  • ensure that all orders are delivered within designated timelines
  • assist in taking guests' orders, following specified procedures, as necessary to ensure department standards
  • document pertinent information in the department logbook
  • complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards
  • review status of assignments and any follow-up action with the Manager and/or on-coming Supervisor
