Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age
  • Must hold a valid food handler's card within 30 days of employment
  • Alcohol server license required
  • Ability to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
  • Must be flexible and have a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift 40 pounds throughout the day
  • Willingness to work irregular hours
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food and beverage management or related field desired
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory role in food and beverage or equivalent training experience
  • Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems, propose and implement solutions
  • Knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Ensure all F&B sets such as concessions and banquets and designated bar areas are properly set before guests arrive
  • Oversee F&B and bar staff during events
  • Train concessions, banquet and bar staff on department standards and procedures
  • Read and understand par sheets, stand sheets and requisition orders
  • Maintain equipment needed for outlet areas and bars
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • Supervise and coordinate concessions attendants, including training on company and departmental standards and providing constructive and corrective feedback
  • Ensure a positive and impactful guest experience by delivering professional and courteous guest service
  • Analyze and resolve problems with associates, guests, and operation with assistance of F&B manager
  • Learn and be comfortable with all food and beverage menu items to complete financial transactions and upsell for maximum profitability
  • Supervise staff to maintain a clean, organized, stocked and safe area
  • Assist F&B manager with inventory by reporting low inventory
  • Assist concessions and bar staff with opening and closing duties
  • Oversee proper presentation, preparation and service needs in conjunction with food and beverage departments
  • Prepare for and execute last minute changes, inspect service set ups and hold pre-function meetings
  • Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate to maximize employee morale
  • Perform other duties as assigned
