Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or a related hospitality role
- Basic computer skills including POS system operation
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and move during shifts
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Support all functions of restaurant in order to guarantee an exceptional guest experience
- Handle the table bookings
- Direct guests to their tables in absence of host or hostess
- Inform guests of food preparation details and ensure awareness of any allergies
- Communicate specific guest needs through POS system in times of need
- Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant menu, specials, menu deviations, outlets, and services
- Ensure proper dining experience including delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties
- Assist in clearing tables and return all equipment to respective areas including rolled silverware and condiments
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of the restaurant including disposing waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping tables
- Attend immediately to spills and breakages
- Assist with special events including different serving methods
- Communicate products and services available at the resort
- Actively ask for and encourage guest feedback including on social media
- Facilitate conversations and act on complaints to improve guest experience
- Actively communicate with entire team to ensure best possible guest experience
- Handle social media content to promote restaurant and bookings
- Handle special requests and anticipate guest needs
- Promptly respond and resolve guest complaints
- Answer telephone promptly and politely
- Use guests’ names and document all transactions properly
- Handle and account for all cash, checks, and credit cards
- Close out servers and bartenders and ensure proper shift closing
- Handle and account for keys
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures, lost and found items, and security concerns
- Adhere to all state and federal alcohol sale requirements
- Adhere to all Health Department requirements
- Perform other assignments as assigned or requested
