Job Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must obtain a valid food handler's card within 30 days of employment
  • Must have an alcohol server license
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work irregular hours
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work inside or outside the building as needed
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food and beverage management or related field desired
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage or equivalent training
  • Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems clearly, propose and implement solutions
  • Knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Familiarity with responsible alcohol service policies
  • Ability to train staff on company and departmental standards
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food and beverage sets such as concessions, banquets, and designated bar areas are properly set before guests arrive
  • Oversee food and beverage and bar staff during events
  • Train concessions, banquet, and bar staff on department standards and procedures
  • Read and understand par sheets, stand sheets, and requisition orders
  • Maintain existing equipment needed for outlet areas and bars
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • Supervise and coordinate concessions attendants including training and providing feedback
  • Ensure a positive guest experience through professional and courteous service
  • Analyze and resolve problems with associates, guests, and operations with assistance from the F&B Manager
  • Learn and be comfortable with all food and beverage menu items to effectively complete transactions and upsell
  • Supervise staff to maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and safe area
  • Assist F&B Manager with inventory by reporting low inventory
  • Assist with opening and closing duties according to standards
  • Oversee proper presentation, preparation, and service needs with all departments
  • Execute last minute changes and hold pre-function meetings to discuss plans
  • Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate to maximize morale and productivity
  • Perform other duties as assigned
