Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of kitchen management experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms
  • Supervise daily food and beverage shift operations and monitor compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program
  • Operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunctions
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Check staffing levels and ensure all employees are in uniform and on time
  • Monitor staff and ensure all guests are being cared for during their visit
  • Manage inventory so all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
  • Coordinate cleaning program in all food and beverage areas, identify trends, and recommend improvements
  • Support servers as needed in taking orders, running food, clearing and cleaning tables, and greeting and seating guests
