Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • self-starting personality with an even temperament
  • willingness to pitch in and assist co-workers
  • ability to apply supervisory skills including planning, organizing, directing, coaching, training and disciplining employees
  • strong knowledge of food and wine pairing
  • must be able to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • supervising daily operations of the restaurant and lounge
  • ensuring exceptional guest experience and addressing concerns
  • coaching, training and mentoring food and beverage staff
  • managing inventory and supplies including ordering and storage
  • ensuring compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations
  • assisting with cash handling and daily sales reconciliation
  • collaborating with kitchen, hotel management and event teams
  • completing daily logs, banquet checks and operational reports
