Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
- 1-2 years experience in food and beverage related role preferred
- must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- must have good verbal and written communication skills in English
- ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism
- knowledge of state liquor laws is required
- willingness to obtain necessary certificates or licenses to meet compliance standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
- 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage related role preferred
- knowledge of Micros and Delphi systems useful but not required
- good understanding of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
- ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
- minimum age of 21 to serve alcoholic beverages
- willingness to obtain any appropriate certificates or licenses to meet compliance standards
Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned food and beverage areas
- work to understand the knowledge of state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
- check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness
- support the Manager by assisting in ensuring staff attendance, documenting any late or absent employees
- coordinate breaks for assigned staff
- inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with guest's order and departmental standards
- ensure that all orders are delivered within designated timelines
- assist in taking guests' orders following specified procedures
- document pertinent information in the department logbook
- complete all paperwork and closing duties according to departmental standards
- review status of assignments and any follow-up action with the Manager or on-coming Supervisor
