Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • 1-2 years experience in food and beverage related role preferred
  • must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
  • must have good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism
  • knowledge of state liquor laws is required
  • willingness to obtain necessary certificates or licenses to meet compliance standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage related role preferred
  • knowledge of Micros and Delphi systems useful but not required
  • good understanding of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
  • minimum age of 21 to serve alcoholic beverages
  • willingness to obtain any appropriate certificates or licenses to meet compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned food and beverage areas
  • work to understand the knowledge of state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
  • check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness
  • support the Manager by assisting in ensuring staff attendance, documenting any late or absent employees
  • coordinate breaks for assigned staff
  • inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with guest's order and departmental standards
  • ensure that all orders are delivered within designated timelines
  • assist in taking guests' orders following specified procedures
  • document pertinent information in the department logbook
  • complete all paperwork and closing duties according to departmental standards
  • review status of assignments and any follow-up action with the Manager or on-coming Supervisor
