Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or vocational or technical school degree
  • California Food Handlers Certificate
  • ServSafe Alcohol certification
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by park business demands

Job Duties

  • Facilitates clear direction to staff and dictates staff deployment
  • supervises all break and meal periods with the team leader at the start of shift
  • ensures all products are ready for daily operations
  • monitors associates for policy compliance and guest service excellence
  • conducts hourly shop walkthroughs to ensure readiness
  • manages all safety and sanitation standards including food holding temperatures and cleanliness
  • reports and follows up on any safety or sanitation audit issues
  • reviews line schedules two weeks in advance to ensure adequate staffing
  • communicates staffing needs with area manager and workforce department
  • issues job performance evaluations as appropriate
  • completes accurate weekly inventory and controls waste
  • explains any variances from budget daily or weekly
  • adheres to revenue and labor budgets and reports variances
  • provides training, coaching, and guidance on guest service standards
  • maintains knowledge of menu items and special dietary needs
  • handles immediate guest complaints
  • maintains and cleans equipment, reports issues to maintenance control and leadership
  • communicates through end-of-day reports covering financial, operational, safety, maintenance, and guest concerns
  • responds to daily emails and communicates policy changes
  • conducts preshift meetings
