Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED
  • previous food and beverage experience
  • current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications as required by law
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods on hard surface
  • ability to use arms hands and legs repetitively
  • good vision and sense of smell
  • ability to work with cleaning chemicals and food products
  • ability to carry and balance up to 25 pounds
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent English verbal and written communication
  • basic math skills
  • organizational skills
  • ability to multitask and delegate tasks
  • comfortable setting priorities
  • ability to work in stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law
  • previous food and beverage experience
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • high school education or GED
  • flexible availability for full-time work

Job Duties

  • Responsible for prompt courteous service to restaurant guests serving food and beverage
  • train and supervise restaurant staff
  • handle paperwork and other administrative duties
  • uphold the company and brand standards policies and procedures and hold all staff accountable
  • organize and prioritize work assignments and delegate tasks to staff
  • direct service on the floor reflecting the culture of the hotel and brand and follow up where necessary
  • track and maintain supplies and equipment levels, forecast needs and assist with ordering
  • maintain safety programs for the restaurant employees and guests
  • ensure employee appearance reflects the company image
  • influence the team to embrace and reflect core values
  • possess complete knowledge of hospitality and brand standards
  • practice and ensure compliance with cash handling and point-of-sale system operation
  • display and teach professional service techniques
  • ensure clean safe and orderly work areas
  • perform cashier functions after-shift status forms and cover counts correctly
  • complete food and beverage and storeroom requisitions
  • address food beverage and employee needs comments and concerns
  • communicate on financial performance inventory and personnel
