Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting
  • Knowledge of financial processes such as cost control and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Micros POS and Microsoft Office
  • Food Handlers and TIPS certifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required associate degree or higher in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience in a Food & Beverage setting preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
  • Knowledge of basic financial processes including cost control and inventory management
  • Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems (Micros) and basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Detail-oriented organized and able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
  • Food Handlers and TIPS certifications required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of restaurant outlets including staff leadership inventory and service standards
  • Supervise and guide team members during service providing support and training to maintain high-quality guest experiences
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service flow accurate order execution and consistent food presentation
  • Monitor guest feedback promptly address concerns and escalate issues to the Food & Beverage Manager as needed
  • Help maintain a positive work environment by coaching motivating and recognizing team members for their performance
  • Support budgetary initiatives by monitoring costs managing inventories and suggesting cost-control measures when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations through regular inspections and consistent adherence to hotel policies
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager on scheduling staff development and performance evaluations
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to promote seamless hotel operations and maintain overall guest satisfaction
  • Assist in special events promotions or other outlets as directed by Food & Beverage leadership
