Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience
  • Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service
  • Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred
  • Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval

  • Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred
  • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving history

Job Duties

  • Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure excellence in service for all guests
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of morning and/or evening food service including cooking, food prep, cleaning, and any other required task requested by management
  • Establishing and ensuring quality standards are attained and maintained
  • Managing inventories of cost of goods sold, kitchen equipment, linens, etc.
  • Responding and resolving all guest complaints with regard to food and beverage timely and appropriately
  • Inspect kitchen and dining areas for cleanliness and preventative maintenance upkeep on a daily basis
  • Supervisory responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, hiring, training employees, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees
  • planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems
