Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage role preferred
  • Good understanding of English and strong communication skills
  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Willingness to obtain necessary certificates/licenses
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Knowledge of state liquor laws
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Prefer 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage related role
  • Micros and Delphi knowledge is useful but not required
  • Must have a good understanding of the English language and solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Have or be willing to obtain any appropriate certificates/licenses to meet all compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned food and beverage areas
  • Work to understand the knowledge of state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
  • Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness
  • Support the manager by assisting in ensuring staff has reported to work, document any late or absent employees
  • Coordinate breaks for assigned staff
  • Inspect table setups, check for cleanliness, neatness, and agreement with guest's order and departmental standards
  • Ensure that all orders are delivered within designated timelines
  • Assist in taking guests' orders, following specified procedures, as necessary to ensure department standards
  • Document pertinent information in the department logbook
  • Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards
  • Review status of assignments and any follow-up action with the manager and/or on-coming supervisor
