Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years experience in a hotel food and beverage department or related field preferred
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally

Job Duties
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with property standards
- maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- comply with property standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations
- prepare ingredients according to recipes
- ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance
- check food and ingredients for freshness and quality
- prepare menu items ensuring consistency and presentation
- maintain a friendly and warm demeanor
- be familiar with property organization and department functions
- assist in maintaining food and beverage costs
- communicate with employees and motivate staff
- monitor servers' cash overages and shortages
- maintain service standards
- address accidents, problems or guest complaints immediately
- react to emergency situations
- maintain disciplinary actions for employees
- be familiar with Micros/Aloha P.O.S. system
- manage and approve employee time cards
- ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous
- assist in staff scheduling
- assist in inventory and reconciliation
- monitor inventory and place orders
- ensure side work completion
- assist in promotional efforts
- assist in departmental meetings
- promote sales efforts for service personnel
- help prepare performance appraisals
- improve quality and presentation of food products
- attend required meetings
- perform cleaning tasks
- ensure staff holds current food safety certifications
- perform supervised duties
