Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Availability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory position within full-service restaurants
  • Knowledge of beverage cost control and sequence of service
  • Proficiency with Micros POS system preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on attitude and leadership capabilities
  • Strong organizational and training skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Direct the operational efforts and strategies of all kitchen outlets
  • Supervise the entire kitchen staff including restaurant, lounge, banquet, utility and sanitation associates
  • Provide training on food preparation, seasoning, plate presentation, sanitation and service techniques
  • Assist with writing schedules, evaluating associates, and personnel management
  • Maintain open communication between management and staff
  • Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings, BEO meetings, food and beverage meetings, and kitchen inventory
  • Ensure high quality and timely food service according to recipes
  • Support all areas of food service and hotel operations as needed
