Job Requirements

Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
climb up and down ladders
scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
reliable and prompt attendance necessary
ability to work in an environment ranging from 34F to -10F as needed
ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity and other elements while performing certain job duties including Drive-Up, carryout etc.
ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only)
previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
work both independently and with a team
resolve guest questions quickly
attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties

Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations
uphold and maintain execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing reserve product
follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures
use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
work with vendors to set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space
locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target's policies and procedures
