Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
- ability to climb ladders
- ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- ability to work in temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- capability to work in environments where common allergens may be present
- must be able to remain mobile for an entire scheduled shift
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- ability to work both independently and within a team
- able to resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capable of remaining focused in fast-paced environments and managing multiple tasks within timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience prioritizing guest needs over tasks
- uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- execute Food & Beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing reserve product
- follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- work with vendors to maintain and adjust salesfloor displays and keep backroom organized
- locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to policies
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues
- execute all federal, state and local adult beverage laws applicable
- appropriately use and care for protective equipment
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance culture
- work safely and report hazards
- support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- create welcoming experiences by greeting guests
- engage guests to solve their specific needs
- thank guests for shopping at Target
- perform additional duties based on business needs
