Landscapes Golf Management, in conjunction with Ashland Golf Club, is excited to offer an opportunity to join our Food and Beverage Team. Ashland Golf Club is a semi-private golf club located in the serene surroundings just outside Ashland, Nebraska, perfectly positioned between the vibrant cities of Lincoln and Omaha. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • previous experience in food service or bartending preferred
  • responsible alcohol and tobacco training and or certificate
  • must have ability to deliver high level customer service while working under pressure
  • good oral communication skills
  • has ability to calculate and complete liquid measurements
  • ability to do simple math and count change accurately

Job Duties

  • Attend responsible alcohol and adhere to responsible alcohol policy
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons using proper measures
  • check customers identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • record drink orders accurately and promptly into register system
  • collect guest payment and process credit card charges
  • take and cook food orders, record and deliver orders to bar patrons
  • maintain stock and cleanliness of bar area arranging bottles and glasses efficiently
  • clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment according to guidelines
  • prepare garnishes and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons
  • communicate low stock items to food and beverage manager
  • follow closing and duty checklists as appropriate
  • report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to management
  • limit problems related to customers excessive drinking by following procedures
  • demonstrate commitment to club success by being service and solution-oriented and positive in interactions
  • perform additional assignments as directed by club or company managers
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts
