Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of Food & Beverage industry and operational experience preferred
  • professional certifications preferred
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • proven ability in problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • knowledge of safety regulations in Food & Beverage operations
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
  • aptitude for data analysis and strategic planning

Job Qualifications

  • Preferred 10+ years of Food & Beverage industry and operational experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • professional certifications such as Certified Custodial Technician (CCT) or Green Masters Certification preferred
  • deep knowledge of Food & Beverage practices
  • ability to train and mentor others effectively
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
  • strong organization and time management abilities
  • understanding of Food & Beverage safety regulations and procedures

Job Duties

  • become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within the Food & Beverage category
  • demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and conflict resolution to meet procurement and client account goals
  • promote compliance with company code of conduct and values
  • navigate a matrixed organization involving multiple stakeholders across business lines
  • establish category plans and strategy aligned with service line and procurement priorities
  • drive EBITDA growth through preferred suppliers
  • analyze Food & Beverage program to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • incorporate industry best practices into category delivery
  • utilize demand planning to optimize supplier agreements
  • monitor preferred supplier utilization and performance
  • develop and understand data analytics to analyze client third-party spend
  • ensure effective commercial arrangements
  • serve as point of contact for Food & Beverage service inquiries
  • develop and deliver training programs on best practices and safety protocols
  • communicate preferred supplier metrics to drive network adoption
  • build strong relationships with business units and category management team
  • consistently meet and exceed goals
  • create and deliver clear and impactful communications
  • introduce innovative strategies and approaches for category execution
  • collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, TDS, HR, and Project Management departments
  • employ continuous improvement and change management techniques to enhance preferred supplier program utilization
