Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in food and beverage industry and operations
  • Professional certifications in related fields preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to food and beverage operations
  • Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Ability to analyze data and implement continuous improvement techniques

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of food and beverage industry and operational experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Custodial Technician (CCT) or Green Masters Certification preferred
  • Deep knowledge of food and beverage practices
  • Effective training and instructional skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Understanding of food and beverage safety regulations and procedures
  • Capacity for innovative strategy development and creative problem solving
  • Contract negotiation and management skills

Job Duties

  • Create a working environment that encourages high performance and innovation
  • Become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within the food and beverage category
  • Provide flexibility, adaptability, and conflict resolution to enable procurement and client account goals

  • Navigate a matrixed organization with diverse stakeholders across business lines and functions
  • Establish category plans and strategy to ensure the right solution for business lines
  • Collaborate with procurement business partners and leadership to align category management vision
  • Drive EBITDA growth through preferred suppliers
  • Analyze food and beverage programs for improvement and cost reduction
  • Utilize demand planning to maximize value from supplier agreements
  • Monitor preferred supplier utilization and performance
  • Develop and use data analytics for client third party spend analysis
  • Ensure effective commercial arrangements
  • Serve as point of contact for food and beverage service inquiries
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on best practices and safety
  • Communicate supplier metrics and encourage supplier network adoption
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and category management
  • Drive results by timely achievement of goals
  • Develop and deliver impactful communications
  • Introduce innovative ideas and approaches for category strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, HR, and project management
  • Utilize continuous improvement and change management techniques to enhance programs
