Job Requirements

  • minimum 10 years of experience in food and beverage industry
  • bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • proven leadership ability in a matrixed organization
  • strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • knowledge of procurement processes and preferred supplier programs
  • proficiency in change management and continuous improvement techniques
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to travel as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Food & Beverage industry and operational experience preferred
  • bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
  • professional certifications preferred such as Certified Custodial Technician (CCT), Green Masters Certification or evidence of continued professional growth
  • deep knowledge of Food & Beverage practices
  • ability to effectively train and mentor others
  • ability to identify and resolve issues related to service delivery
  • ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to Food & Beverage operations
  • capacity to develop innovative strategies and solutions

Job Duties

  • Create a working environment that encourages high performance and innovation
  • become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert within the Food & Beverage category
  • demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and conflict resolution to enable the delivery of procurement and client account goals
  • promote compliance with Cushman & Wakefield's code of conduct and DRIVE values
  • navigate a matrixed organization where stakeholders are in different business lines, functions or projects
  • establish category plans and strategy to ensure the right solution for Cushman & Wakefield business lines
  • work with procurement business partners and service line leadership to align category management vision with service line and procurement priorities
  • drive EBITDA growth through Cushman & Wakefield's preferred suppliers
  • analyze current Food & Beverage program to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, client experience and cost reduction opportunities
  • incorporate industry best practices into category delivery
  • utilize demand planning to target value from supplier agreements
  • monitor preferred supplier utilization, build roster to ensure capability to deliver across the service line portfolios, and monitor performance to ensure capability to meet account needs
  • develop and understand data analytics to mine data to drive in depth analysis of client 3rd party spend
  • ensure effective commercial arrangements
  • serve as a point of contact for questions and concerns related to Food & Beverage services
  • develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Cushman & Wakefield and clients covering best practices, safety protocols, and new equipment/technologies
  • communicate preferred supplier metrics and help the business drive greater adoption of the preferred supplier network
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with business units and the category management team
  • drive for results by consistently achieving goals in a timely manner
  • develop and deliver communications with clarity and impact ensuring consistent messaging
  • encourage creation and bring new best in class ideas and approaches for developing and executing category strategies and working within the supply market to ensure Cushman & Wakefield meets or exceeds their objectives
  • work cross functionally with other departments including Legal, Finance, Operations, TDS, HR, Project Management, etc. for delivery of category strategies
  • utilize strong problem solving skills including continuous improvement techniques
  • utilize change management techniques to drive the development and utilization of a preferred supplier program
