Job Requirements

  • Must have five years cumulative experience in food and beverage leadership position
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • must be licensed or able to qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission
  • must pass background check
  • must complete alcohol awareness and responsible service training
  • must have open availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • must meet professional appearance and grooming standards
  • must be able to tolerate fast-paced and high stimulus environments
  • must be comfortable with new software
  • must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • must be drug and nicotine free
  • must have strong communication skills
  • must be able to read and interpret documents in English

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment

  • monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed per company policy and T.I.P.S training
  • directly manage gaming food and beverage team operations
  • resolve food and beverage service and quality complaints
  • train team members in service, sanitation, and safety
  • inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
  • monitor budgets and payroll records
  • control beverage inventories and report shortages
  • assign duties and work stations to team members
  • analyze and alleviate operational problems
  • interview and train new team members
  • manage schedules for team members and assistant managers
  • supervise work processes
  • conduct pre-shift meetings
  • apply disciplinary policies
  • manage complaints and grievances
  • administer rewards and recognition
  • review performance and productivity
  • recommend changes in staffing status
  • ensure team safety and cleanliness
  • maintain training programs
  • support customer service initiatives
  • adhere to policies and procedures
  • manage attendance and time records
  • oversee departmental expenses and labor costs
  • protect company assets
  • assist with budgetary goals
  • comply with bargaining unit agreements
  • meet grooming and attendance standards
  • perform other duties as needed
