Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • Pull out chairs and place menus in front of guests
  • Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide necessary assistance
  • Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for special needs groups
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware
  • Check menus for cleanliness, currency, and availability
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Maintain clean and professional personal appearance
  • Protect confidentiality of proprietary information and company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Speak professionally and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers
  • Support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
