Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience necessary

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food handling and serving techniques, and compliance with serving regulations
- Proficient in cash handling and credit card procedures
- Capable of operating computers, calculators, and phones effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Maintain a consistent professional demeanor with effective listening and communication abilities
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and efficient

Job Duties
- Maintain a warm and inviting demeanor to enhance the teamwork atmosphere
- Become familiar with the menu to effectively explain offerings and make recommendations to guests
- Greet each guest warmly and provide a memorable farewell to encourage repeat visits
- Follow the CHARM service model to deliver an outstanding guest experience
- Promote current features and specials to guests through suggestive selling
- Accurately record and input guest orders into the MICROS system promptly
- Serve food to guests promptly, both within the dining area and for takeout
- Check back with guests regularly, providing refills and clearing tables as necessary
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure all guest needs are fulfilled
- Perform opening and closing duties as well as side work responsibilities
- Deliver the highest quality food and beverage presentation to guests
- Respond quickly to guest needs and requests during the entire visit
- Present accurate guest checks and process payments efficiently
- Assist with guest inquiries in a courteous manner
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to the Ruby Tuesday Responsible Serving Statement Policy
- Report any incidents of excessive alcohol consumption to management immediately
- Follow all cash handling, credit card, and accounting procedures when processing transactions
- Comply with company policy regarding reporting tips as per IRS regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while communicating with guests and team members
- Other responsibilities as assigned
