Job Duties
- Describe menu items to guests by offering vivid descriptions of origin, taste, and preparation methods
- communicate guest orders including special requests to the kitchen using point-of-sale system
- coordinate timing of food service
- check completed kitchen orders against guest requests
- transport food and beverages to guest tables promptly to maintain quality
- anticipate and respond to guest needs and concerns
- maintain cleanliness and organization of serving areas
