Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- valid legal documentation to work in the United States
- able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
- no use of illegal or social drugs in the past 90 days except marijuana
- willing to receive text communications from employer
- physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and work with kitchen equipment
- availability to work varying days including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Teaching experience preferred
- Serv Safe Proctor Certification
- background in culinary arts or hospitality management
- solid knowledge of foodborne pathogens and food science
- experience in coaching or team development
- ability to generate detailed reports
- familiarity with sanitation audit protocols
Job Duties
- Conduct weekly internal sanitation audits and bi-yearly health inspections for individual restaurants and food carts
- coach and develop team members on food safety and sanitation practices
- manage annual re-certification for seasonal and full-time associates
- assist food and beverage locations during peak business days and events
- perform sanitation walks and audits at kitchen and catering locations
- conduct annual food safety training and monthly refresher courses
- create weekly reports using Six Flags Safety Culture aligned with Diversey standards
- complete all tasks assigned by full-time management
- comply with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies and procedures
- report to In Park Services Director
