Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending and working with kitchen equipment such as ovens and grills
  • Legal documentation establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • No use of illegal drugs within the last 90 days excluding marijuana

Job Qualifications

  • Background in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
  • Serv Safe Proctor Certification
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Solid knowledge of foodborne pathogens illness and disease
  • Knowledge of food science
  • Ability to create and present training
  • Experience with safety and sanitation programs

Job Duties

  • Conduct weekly internal sanitation audits and bi-yearly health inspections for individual restaurants and food carts
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Manage annual re-certification for seasonal and full-time associates
  • Assist Food and Beverage locations during peak business days and events
  • Perform sanitation audits at kitchen and catering locations
  • Conduct annual NFP training and monthly refresher courses
  • Create weekly reports using Six Flags Safety Culture aligned with Diversey standards
  • Complete tasks assigned by full-time management
  • Comply with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies and procedures
