Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of food and beverage management experience preferably in a golf club or resort hotel setting
  • Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) required
  • Certification in Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Regular attendance required
  • Ability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks
  • Physical ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds
  • Ability to use POS system
  • Ability to use employee self-service on human resources payroll database

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or related field strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a golf club or resort hotel setting
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to address issues promptly and make informed decisions

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all food and beverage operations within the restaurant ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Develop and implement operating procedures policies and standards for high-quality service
  • Supervise mentor and train team members and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards through regular audits and inspections
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Oversee food and beverage inventory management including ordering receiving and cost control
  • Manage weekly staff schedule ensuring adequate coverage and operational efficiency
  • Participate in cross-training within banquets to provide comprehensive service
  • Oversee food and beverage team during large group outings and special events
  • Conduct regular audits of staff inventories and paperwork and ensure accuracy
  • Serve as the manager on duty for restaurant operation as needed
  • Actively participate in meetings and training sessions
  • Draft and format memos emails and reports according to guidelines
  • Perform other related duties and assist with projects as assigned
