Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field strongly preferred
  • HSD/GED required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in food and beverage management, preferably for a golf club or outlet for a resort/hotel
  • Must be a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM)
  • Must be certified with Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Ability to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and seek supervisory assistance as appropriate

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all food and beverage operations within the Restaurant, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals set by the Senior Management
  • Develop and implement operating procedures, policies, and standards to ensure efficient and high-quality service across all Adobe Bar & Grille food and beverage operations, including the beverage cart and halfway attendants
  • Supervise, mentor, and train team members, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing continuous development opportunities, implement coaching and corrective action plans as needed
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with health regulations
  • Address and resolve guest complaints related to food, beverages, or service promptly and professionally, work with the management team to improve guest satisfaction
  • Oversee food and beverage inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies, conduct regular audits to manage costs effectively and prevent loss
  • Manage the weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage and optimal operation efficiency
  • Participate in cross-training within Banquets to understand the overall operation, providing a comprehensive service approach
  • May oversee food and beverage team during large group outings and special events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
  • Conduct regular audits of staff inventories and paperwork, assist with opening and/or closing paperwork, and ensure accuracy in all administrative procedures and processes in a timely manner
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty for Restaurant operation as needed, ensuring smooth and continuous operations
  • Actively participates in meetings and training sessions
  • Drafts and formats memos, emails, and reports in accordance with Adobe Bar & Grille guidelines and protocols
  • Performs all other related duties, as assigned
  • May be requested to assist with projects from time to time
