Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in food and beverage management
- Certified Food Protection Manager certification
- Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting 25 to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Regular attendance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize demands
- Ability to seek supervisory assistance when needed
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in food and beverage management preferably in a golf club or resort/hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to address issues promptly and make informed decisions
- Dedication to meeting expectations and requirements of members and guests
- Ability to multi-task
- Commitment to maintaining high quality service standards
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Skilled at active listening, retaining knowledge, and acting upon it
- Open to change
- Ability to use POS system
- Ability to use employee self-service on human resources/payroll database
- Certified Food Protection Manager
- Certified with Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Direct and oversee all food and beverage operations within the restaurant
- Develop and implement operating procedures, policies, and standards
- Supervise, mentor, and train team members
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Address and resolve guest complaints related to food, beverages, or service
- Oversee food and beverage inventory management
- Manage the weekly staff schedule
- Participate in cross-training within banquets
- Oversee food and beverage team during large group outings and special events
- Conduct regular audits of staff inventories and paperwork
- Serve as the Manager on Duty as needed
- Actively participate in meetings and training sessions
- Draft and format memos, emails, and reports
- Perform related duties and assist with projects as assigned
