Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in food and beverage management
  • Certified Food Protection Manager certification
  • Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting 25 to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Regular attendance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize demands
  • Ability to seek supervisory assistance when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in food and beverage management preferably in a golf club or resort/hotel setting
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to address issues promptly and make informed decisions
  • Dedication to meeting expectations and requirements of members and guests
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Commitment to maintaining high quality service standards
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Skilled at active listening, retaining knowledge, and acting upon it
  • Open to change
  • Ability to use POS system
  • Ability to use employee self-service on human resources/payroll database
  • Certified Food Protection Manager
  • Certified with Arizona Title 4 Management Alcohol Training
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all food and beverage operations within the restaurant
  • Develop and implement operating procedures, policies, and standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and train team members
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Address and resolve guest complaints related to food, beverages, or service
  • Oversee food and beverage inventory management
  • Manage the weekly staff schedule
  • Participate in cross-training within banquets
  • Oversee food and beverage team during large group outings and special events
  • Conduct regular audits of staff inventories and paperwork
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty as needed
  • Actively participate in meetings and training sessions
  • Draft and format memos, emails, and reports
  • Perform related duties and assist with projects as assigned
