Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years experience in food equipment repair or related field or five years mechanical maintenance experience
- Preferred appliance repair certification or Associates degree from trade school
- Preferred CFESA certification
- Preferred valid refrigerant handling certification
- Ability to use standard office equipment and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Professional guest and team interaction skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Willingness to wear required PPE
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three years of experience in food equipment repair or related field or five years of mechanical maintenance experience required
- Appliance repair certification or Associates degree from a trade school preferred
- Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) certification preferred
- Valid certification for handling refrigerants preferred (Universal Certification preferred)
- Ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting with whole numbers and fractions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate a personal computer
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Duties
- Maintain F&B equipment by inspecting, repairing, and installing equipment throughout all food venues
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all F&B equipment
- Complete F&B work requests as they are assigned in a timely, accurate manner
- Operate and take care of all phases of restaurant appliance repair
- Order, receive, stock, and maintain the parts inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements and company safety policies
- Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
