Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- three years of experience in food equipment repair or five years of mechanical maintenance experience
- ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- ability to use basic math skills
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
- ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
- ability to operate a personal computer
- ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
- ability to work in hot and cold environments
- ability to work near moving parts and in noisy conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- three years of experience in food equipment repair or related field required
- five years of mechanical maintenance experience required
- appliance repair certification or associates degree from a trade school preferred
- Commercial Food Equipment Service Association certification preferred
- valid certification for handling refrigerants preferred
- ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office
- strong organization skills and attention to detail
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
- professional interaction skills with guests and team members
- willingness to work irregular hours including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate a personal computer
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- required vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus
- ability to wear all required personal protective equipment while performing job duties
Job Duties
- Maintain F&B equipment by inspecting, repairing, and installing equipment throughout all food venues
- conduct preventative maintenance on all F&B equipment
- complete F&B work requests as they are assigned in a timely, accurate manner
- operate and take care of all phases of restaurant appliance repair
- order, receive, stock, and maintain the parts inventory
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements and company safety policies
- perform job duties in compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
