Job Requirements
- Food safety certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak club operations
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, hotel, or private club purchasing
- Strong knowledge of food products, vendors, and kitchen operations
- Experience managing inventory and food cost controls
- Ability to build strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Culinary background or experience working in kitchen operations
- Experience in private clubs, hotels, or upscale hospitality environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field
Job Duties
- Manage purchasing of food, kitchen supplies, equipment, and related culinary products
- Maintain the purchase order system and ensure accurate deliveries
- Develop strong vendor partnerships and negotiate pricing and contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and establish par levels to support operations
- Oversee product receiving and ensure quality and specification compliance
- Track food costs, purchasing trends, and vendor performance
- Code and submit culinary invoices and maintain purchasing records
- Support monthly inventory and cost reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu costing and product sourcing
- Support high-volume events and special club functions
- Oversee operations of the Employee Dining Room
