Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage operations leadership
- Prior restaurant manager or assistant general manager experience preferred
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to understand financial statements and labor productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects of moderate weight without assistance

Job Duties
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant
- Conduct pre-meal meetings with service staff daily
- Supervise floor operations during service
- Ensure service personnel follow protocol and steps of service
- Monitor timing of guest experience
- Handle guest complaints to satisfaction
- Maintain smooth-running operation
- Create weekly schedules for front of house staff
- Ensure kitchen, stewarding and cashier staff are on duty as scheduled
- Maintain stocked side-stations with equipment
- Oversee completion of all side-work
- Ensure beverage machines function properly
- Manage station rotation in seating
- Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary
- Coordinate all dining room functions during service
- Monitor productivity of service staff
- Monitor and critique food quality and consistency
- Post special boards and accurate descriptions
- Check food quality and presentation continuously
- Maintain food displays during service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and comments
- Recognize repeat guests constantly
- Review daily reservations and VIP lists
- Handle special attention details properly
- Maintain physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurants
- Ensure staff uniforms and appearance meet specifications
- Inspect tabletops and side-stations during service
- Inspect menus daily
- Ensure equipment is clean and in good condition
- Maintain neat, orderly work areas
- Adjust lights and music appropriately for meal periods
- Contribute to restaurant profitability through cost control
- Perform positive up-selling with staff
- Expedite table turnover and resetting
- Implement sales promotions and merchandising
- Be knowledgeable about beverage procedures and assist cashier
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Know emergency procedures including CPR
- Enforce liquor liability laws
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
