Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- two years of experience in a food and beverage operations leadership role required
- previous restaurant manager or assistant general manager experience preferred
- flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- understanding of financial statements and labor productivity
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight without assistance

Job Duties
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction while dining in the restaurant
- conduct pre-meal meetings with service staff daily
- supervise floor operations
- enforce service protocols including steps of service
- monitor timing of guest experiences
- handle guest complaints to satisfaction
- maintain smooth-running operations
- create weekly schedules for Front of the House staff
- ensure kitchen, stewarding, and cashier staff are on duty as scheduled
- maintain fully stocked side-stations
- verify completion of side-work
- ensure beverage machines are functioning properly
- manage station rotation in seating
- assist in seating or service of guests
- coordinate dining room functions during service
- monitor and critique food quality and consistency
- oversee food presentations and displays
- monitor guest satisfaction and comments
- recognize repeat guests
- review daily reservations against VIP lists
- maintain cleanliness and physical atmosphere
- enforce dress code and appearance standards
- inspect tabletops and menus daily
- oversee equipment condition and cleanliness
- maintain neat work areas
- adjust lights and music per meal periods
- contribute to restaurant profitability through cost control
- implement positive up-selling techniques
- expedite table turnover and resetting
- assist cashier with beverage procedures
- enforce liquor liability laws
- perform all other assigned duties by management
