Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety, security, and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to handle hotel equipment safely
- Experience with budget management and cost control
- Must be able to read, speak and understand English

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards and techniques, guest relations, and etiquette
- Ability to apply knowledge practically in a hotel setting
- Effective communication skills to compose and express thoughts clearly
- Ability to develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships
- Ability to manage diverse groups of people
- Experience working with Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to ensure quality food and presentation
- Capability to provide excellent guest recovery and handle complaints
- Scheduling skills to match service levels with occupancy
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
Job Duties
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the food and beverage division including outlets, banquets, and hospitality areas
- Assist with maintaining the food and beverage division within budgetary guidelines
- Adhere and update policies and controls on food and beverage operations including waste reduction, energy costs, breakage, and handling of alcoholic beverages
- Assist with training programs to enhance service and expertise of management, service and operations personnel
- Attend meetings regularly and meet with food and beverage staff
- Prepare reports, proposals, policies, and other communications as assigned
- Adhere to safety, security and sanitation procedures and report hazards
