One of its distinguished properties, The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa located in Scottsdale, Arizona, stands out as a premier resort destination known for its world-class amenities, exceptional service, and dedication to wellness. As part of the Marriott family, The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa embodies the brand's mission to provide guests with rejuvenating and health-oriented experiences, making it a sought-after place for guests who prioritize well-being during their travels.

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within the Food and Beverage (F&B) department. This is a full-time management position with an annual pay range of $66,000 to $86,000, and it includes eligibility for performance bonuses. The position is based onsite, requiring hands-on leadership in the resort’s various dining venues.

The Food and Beverage Manager at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa plays a crucial role in supervising daily shift operations and ensuring all F&B policies, standards, and procedures are rigorously followed. This leadership role involves managing day-to-day activities to consistently meet and exceed the quality and service expectations of guests. The manager’s responsibilities extend to overseeing inventory control, including the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning materials, and uniforms, ensuring that all resources are available for seamless service delivery.

Customer satisfaction and retention are paramount, with the manager leading initiatives to provide service that goes beyond standard expectations. They serve as a role model for appropriate behavior and service culture, proactively addressing guest concerns and consistently setting a positive example for guest relations. Reviewing guest feedback and satisfaction surveys forms a part of their regular duties, helping to drive continuous improvement in service quality.

Additionally, the manager plays a pivotal role in supporting and supervising a monthly self-inspection program, coordinating cleanliness and maintenance efforts in all F&B areas, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Communication is key, as the manager must provide clear guidance and feedback to team members while nurturing an open and collaborative workplace culture.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience in food and beverage or culinary fields, or alternatively, a two-year degree from an accredited institution in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields, with at least two years of applicable experience.

Marriott International and The Westin brand take pride in fostering diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within their teams. At Westin, there is a particular emphasis on empowering associates to maintain their own well-being while delivering outstanding guest experiences. Employees who are passionate, active, optimistic, and adventurous will find The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa a fulfilling and supportive environment to grow their careers and personal well-being.
