Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of food and beverage management experience in high-volume settings
  • Proven leadership skills in managing large teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand and move for extended periods during events

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven food and beverage management experience in a high-volume environment such as hospitality, conference center, arena, or large event venue
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing large teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and shifting priorities
  • Strong client relationship and customer service skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and inventory
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Ability to innovate and adapt service offerings to diverse events and audiences
  • Self-motivated, commercially focused, and committed to continuous improvement

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and motivate food and beverage teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service
  • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings
  • Model strong leadership and reinforce company mentorship and recognition practices
  • Conduct team meetings, daily huddles, and provide ongoing performance feedback
  • Maintain accurate staff records including training, scheduling, and performance data
  • Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
  • Adapt service models and offerings to match the type of event and clientele
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences
  • Create memorable guest experiences through innovative menus, dynamic event setups, and efficient service
  • Plan and execute bar, concession, and catering setups for events of varying size and scope
  • Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stock checks, and waste reduction
  • Coordinate with suppliers and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards and company policies
  • Lead special projects during slower periods such as equipment maintenance, resets, and menu development
  • Deliver on revenue, food cost, and labor targets
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive catering and concession sales
  • Track and analyze sales trends, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate reporting of revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Implement cost controls while maintaining high service standards
