Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Full open availability including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extensive periods
  • Capability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have high mobility and flexibility in small spaces
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to work in a noisy and busy bowling center/arcade environment
  • Commitment to comply with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in entertainment, retail or hospitality industries
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Experience managing budgets and payroll
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Knowledge of alcohol service laws and safety regulations
  • Capability to handle inventory and reporting
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
  • Experience in staff training and disciplinary actions

Job Duties

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure quality
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, verifying product quality and quantity
  • Monitor department budgets and payroll records, review financial transactions to ensure expenditures are authorized and budgeted
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
  • Ensure full knowledge and compliance of processes for serving alcohol within the premises
  • Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Provide two-way communication and foster teamwork and motivation
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Conduct alcohol and age restriction control according to company policies
  • Provide superior customer service by being visible and accessible to customers
  • Conduct and monitor department inventory and submit weekly and monthly reports
  • Train, coach, and issue disciplinary actions to department staff
  • Hold weekly staff meetings with department supervisors
  • Maintain a floor presence of at least 90% of the shift to support sales and troubleshoot
  • Perform opening and closing duties as directed
  • Enforce compliance with local, state, and federal safety and loss prevention regulations
