Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management preferably in a casino or large-scale hospitality setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Colorado Limited Gaming Act and compliance requirements
- Must be able to wear a gaming license if in possession
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and enforce uniform standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage management
- Knowledge of health, safety, and employment regulations
- Ability to develop operational programs and strategies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with recipe and menu development
- Proficiency in inventory and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with gaming industry regulations is preferred
Job Duties
- Assists the F&B director in the planning and directing of all F&B operations for the casino
- Assists with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of all F&B programs to improve operational performance, increase revenue, and satisfy guests and employees
- Monitors all restaurant venues to ensure delivery of a consistent superb dining experience
- Assists in the development of F&B programs to meet short and long-term corporate goals
- Establishes and maintains F&B programs in compliance with safety and health standards, employment law, Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies
- Assists with and may have direct responsibility for staff management including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management and progressive discipline
- Establishes and maintains positive work morale and effective employee relations
- Has input into recipe and menu creation for all property restaurant venues
- Ensures staff wears and maintains uniforms properly including nametags and gaming licenses
- May cover any position in the F&B department including front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house
- Implements F&B policies and procedures and ensures all employees are informed
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment and complies with safety procedures
- Attends and participates in casino departmental management meetings providing clarification and guidance
- Manages staff to anticipate, reduce or eliminate guest complaints
- Assists with monthly inventory reconciliation and directs staff in reporting to measure F&B operations
