Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • OR Two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • Ability to work full time
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and staff
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises daily F&B shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures
  • Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
  • Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program
  • Operates department equipment as necessary and reports malfunctions
  • Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial objectives
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
  • Manages day-to-day operations, monitors quality, and standards and meets customers expectations
  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
  • Improves service by communicating, assisting individuals to understand guest needs and providing coaching
  • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns
  • Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
  • Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
  • Performs hourly job functions if necessary
  • Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports
