Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- OR Two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Two years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- Ability to work full time
- Strong leadership skills

- Proficiency in managing budgets and staff

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Supervises daily F&B shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures
- Assists in ordering food and beverage supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
- Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program
- Operates department equipment as necessary and reports malfunctions
- Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial objectives
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
- Manages day-to-day operations, monitors quality, and standards and meets customers expectations
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
- Improves service by communicating, assisting individuals to understand guest needs and providing coaching
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns
- Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees
- Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards
- Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Performs hourly job functions if necessary
- Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports
