Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • three to five years of relevant experience
  • valid South Carolina Driver's License
  • knowledge of local, state and federal food safety regulations
  • compliance with liquor laws and responsible beverage service training
  • ability to manage budgets and staffing
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • three to five years experience in restaurant and beverage management
  • experience preferably in a four-star multi-venue resort or high-volume independent F&B operation
  • strong leadership and customer service skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to manage budgets and financial reports
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with employee training and development
  • proficient in inventory and maintenance coordination

Job Duties

  • Manages F&B operations and staff daily
  • supervises restaurant operations
  • assists with menu planning
  • maintains sanitation standards
  • assists servers and hosts during meals
  • directs FOH operations
  • ensures compliance with food and beverage policies
  • trains and supervises staff
  • manages inventory and restoroom maintenance
  • works with chefs on promotions and menu presentations
  • conducts pre-meal briefings
  • oversees service delivery and special events
  • coordinates repair and maintenance
  • reviews staffing levels
  • trains in accident prevention
  • investigates accidents
  • leads guest hospitality efforts
  • handles guest feedback and complaints
  • empowers employees to deliver excellent service
  • reviews service behavior
  • analyzes guest satisfaction data
  • fosters open communication and employee relations
  • manages hiring and training
  • performs performance appraisals
  • oversees progressive discipline
  • participates in sales and revenue management
