Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 3 years hospitality food and beverage experience
  • ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • physical capability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • strong communication skills
  • experience in managing and coaching staff
  • ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
  • adheres to safety, sanitation, and compliance regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 3 years of experience in hospitality servicing food and beverage
  • ServSafe certified within first 90 days including Food Handler, Allergen, and Alcohol trainings
  • ability to work in different departments based on event needs
  • creativity with presentations and maintaining quality
  • attention to detail and service oriented
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, mid-shifts, early mornings
  • ability to manage multiple tasks
  • excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • strong orientation to customer service and teamwork
  • advanced oral and written communication skills
  • physical ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds consistently
  • arithmetic skills for basic operations
  • ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
  • intermediate computer skills especially with Microsoft Office and MS Excel
  • experience with Clover POS system a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing and implementing food and beverage training programs, policies, and procedures
  • take direction from leadership and effectively organize and supervise all part-time food and beverage staff
  • coach employees by creating a shared understanding about goals and execution, reward and recognize employees
  • utilize catering software to create banquet event orders, compute menu costs for sales and revisions
  • provide the highest customer service excellence
  • oversee food and beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction
  • create schedules as needed
  • follow card handling policies and other building specific policies
  • maintain accurate record keeping and inventory reports
  • meet deadlines for reports and projects
  • ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies and procedures
  • assist in maintaining Health Department score of 90 or higher
  • enforce sanitation procedures and safety guidelines
  • oversee all food and beverage departments including concessions, beverage, suites, catering, and kitchen
  • perform reasonable requests assigned by management
  • supervise all part-time food and beverage employees during events
  • other duties as assigned
